Ingredients

  • 3 cups quick cook oats
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup unsalted butter
  • 1 ⅔ cups sugar
  • ½ cup milk
  • ¼ cup cocoa powder
  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Mix oats and salt in a bowl.
  2. Melt butter in a saucepan.
  3. Add sugar, milk, and cocoa powder to the saucepan.
  4. Bring to a boil for 1 minute.
  5. Remove from heat and stir in peanut butter and vanilla.
  6. Pour mixture over oats and mix well.
  7. Drop spoonfuls onto parchment paper.
  8. Let cool until firm.
