Ingredients

- 3 cups quick cook oats
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ½ cup unsalted butter
- 1 ⅔ cups sugar
- ½ cup milk
- ¼ cup cocoa powder
- 1 cup peanut butter
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Instructions
- Mix oats and salt in a bowl.
- Melt butter in a saucepan.
- Add sugar, milk, and cocoa powder to the saucepan.
- Bring to a boil for 1 minute.
- Remove from heat and stir in peanut butter and vanilla.
- Pour mixture over oats and mix well.
- Drop spoonfuls onto parchment paper.
- Let cool until firm.

- Use creamy peanut butter for best texture.
