Hi there! I’m Emily Parker — chef, wanderer, storyteller, and the heart behind Travelers Wizard.
My world is one where flavors and places collide. Whether I’m wandering through a vibrant food market in Bangkok, or tinkering in the kitchen at home, I’m always chasing stories, tastes, and connections. I started Travelers Wizard to share the magic of those moments — to bring together my twin passions of travel and food, and to invite you along for the journey.
What You’ll Discover Here
Inspirational storytelling — reflections on food, place, and the way they weave us together.
Recipes with soul — simple but bold dishes inspired by cultures I’ve met, easy enough for home cooks.
Destination & travel stories — itineraries, offbeat gems, cultural immersion tips, and local secrets.
My Journey
Ever since I was little, I’ve believed that sharing a meal is one of humanity’s most beautiful acts. Over the years, I trained as a chef, worked in kitchens, and traveled to over 30 countries (and counting). Along the way, I’ve tasted the spice stall curries of India, sat down at family tables in Sicily, and learned that even in the smallest alleyways, there is a story waiting to be told.
Every trip teaches me something new — about people, traditions, and what makes us alike. And here’s why that matters: because I believe travel is more than sightseeing, and cooking is more than following a recipe. They’re both invitations—to explore, to connect, to grow.
Why I Write
When I started this blog, I was tired of scattered notes and forgotten photos. I wanted a place to bring everything together: the recipes, the travel revelations, the connections with people I met along the way. Travelers Wizard is that place.
I hope you’ll find here...
