- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/8 tsp ground nutmeg
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, at room temperature (118g)
- 2/3 cup packed light brown sugar (133g)
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar (100g)
- 1/3 cup unsweetened applesauce, at room temperature (85g)
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 2/3 cup white chocolate chips (113g)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
- In another bowl, cream butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Mix in applesauce and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
- Fold in the white chocolate chips.
- Drop tablespoon-sized portions of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are lightly golden.
- Let cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
