- 1/2 cup whole milk
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 2 cups peeled and chopped apples (such as Granny Smith or Honeycrisp)
- 1/4 cup light brown sugar, packed
- 1 cup powdered sugar (for glaze)
- 2-3 tablespoons milk (for glaze)
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (for glaze)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
- In another bowl, whisk together milk, eggs, vanilla, and melted butter.
- Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until combined.
- Fold in the chopped apples and brown sugar.
- Scoop the batter onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, until golden brown.
- While fritters are baking, prepare the glaze by mixing powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla.
- Drizzle the glaze over the fritters once they are cool.
