Description

A hearty pasta salad inspired by the flavors of a Big Mac, combining ground beef, crisp vegetables, and a tangy sauce.


Ingredients

  • 16 oz (454 g) rotini pasta
  • 1 lb (454 g) ground beef
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1/2 cup chopped dill pickles
  • 1 cup shredded iceberg lettuce
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup diced onion
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 3/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 2 tbsp yellow mustard
  • 2 tbsp pickle juice
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions, then drain and let cool.
  2. Brown the ground beef in a skillet, seasoning with salt and pepper. Drain excess fat and let cool.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the pasta, ground beef, pickles, lettuce, tomatoes, onion, and cheese.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, pickle juice, salt, and pepper.
  5. Pour the dressing over the pasta mixture and toss until evenly coated.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.

Notes

  • For extra crunch, add more lettuce just before serving.
  • Adjust mustard and pickle juice to taste for a stronger or milder flavor.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
