Ingredients

  • 2 cups water
  • 2 cups uncooked rice
  • 1 (10 ounce) can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 (10 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • ¼ cup butter
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 small white onion, chopped
  • 16 ounces broccoli florets
  • 2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook rice in water according to package instructions.
  3. In a large bowl, mix cream of chicken soup, cream of mushroom soup, and milk.
  4. Stir in cooked rice, shredded chicken, chopped onion, and broccoli florets.
  5. Melt butter and mix into the casserole mixture.
  6. Transfer mixture to a greased baking dish.
  7. Sprinkle shredded Cheddar cheese on top.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until cheese is bubbly and golden.

  • Use fresh or frozen broccoli.
  • Substitute chicken with turkey if preferred.
