Ingredients

- 2 cups water
- 2 cups uncooked rice
- 1 (10 ounce) can cream of chicken soup
- 1 (10 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- ¼ cup butter
- 1 cup milk
- 1 small white onion, chopped
- 16 ounces broccoli florets
- 2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook rice in water according to package instructions.
- In a large bowl, mix cream of chicken soup, cream of mushroom soup, and milk.
- Stir in cooked rice, shredded chicken, chopped onion, and broccoli florets.
- Melt butter and mix into the casserole mixture.
- Transfer mixture to a greased baking dish.
- Sprinkle shredded Cheddar cheese on top.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until cheese is bubbly and golden.
Notes
- Use fresh or frozen broccoli.
- Substitute chicken with turkey if preferred.
- Add a pinch of black pepper for extra flavor.
