  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips (optional for sweetness)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
  3. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually mix into the butter mixture.
  5. Fold in the chopped pecans, cinnamon, and white chocolate chips (if using).
  6. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, spacing them 2 inches apart.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
  8. Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
