Description

Delicious Butterfinger Caramel Crunch Bars with a graham cracker crust and a sweet caramel layer topped with chocolate and Butterfinger pieces.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups crushed graham crackers
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/4 cup light corn syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups chopped Butterfinger candy bars
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup crushed pretzels (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine crushed graham crackers, melted butter, and granulated sugar. Mix well.
  3. Press the mixture into the bottom of a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
  4. In a saucepan, combine sweetened condensed milk, unsalted butter, brown sugar, light corn syrup, and vanilla extract. Cook over medium heat until boiling, stirring constantly.
  5. Pour the caramel mixture over the crust and spread evenly.
  6. Bake for 15 minutes, then remove from oven.
  7. Sprinkle chopped Butterfinger bars and chocolate chips over the caramel layer.
  8. If using, add crushed pretzels on top.
  9. Return to the oven and bake for an additional 10 minutes.
  10. Allow to cool completely before cutting into bars.
