  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (optional but recommended)
  • ½ cup caramel sauce (homemade or store-bought)
  • ½ cup crushed Butterfinger pieces for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  5. Gradually mix in the dry ingredients until just combined.
  6. Fold in the crushed Butterfinger pieces, caramel bits, and chocolate chips.
  7. Drop tablespoon-sized dough balls onto the prepared baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
  9. Let the cookies cool on the baking sheets for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
  10. Drizzle with caramel sauce and sprinkle with additional crushed Butterfinger pieces.
