Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 package (9 oz) cheese tortellini
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
  • Optional: Red pepper flakes for garnish

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken breasts with Cajun seasoning.
  2. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat and cook the chicken until fully done, about 6-7 minutes per side. Set aside.
  3. Cook the tortellini according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  4. In the same pan, melt butter and sauté minced garlic until fragrant.
  5. Add heavy cream and chicken broth, stirring until well combined.
  6. Stir in Parmesan cheese until the sauce thickens.
  7. Season with salt and pepper.
  8. Slice the cooked chicken and add it to the sauce along with the cooked tortellini.
  9. Toss everything together and garnish with fresh parsley and red pepper flakes if desired.
