- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 package (9 oz) cheese tortellini
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
- Optional: Red pepper flakes for garnish
Instructions
- Season the chicken breasts with Cajun seasoning.
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat and cook the chicken until fully done, about 6-7 minutes per side. Set aside.
- Cook the tortellini according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In the same pan, melt butter and sauté minced garlic until fragrant.
- Add heavy cream and chicken broth, stirring until well combined.
- Stir in Parmesan cheese until the sauce thickens.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Slice the cooked chicken and add it to the sauce along with the cooked tortellini.
- Toss everything together and garnish with fresh parsley and red pepper flakes if desired.
