- 1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)
- 1 large egg
- 1 cup toffee bits (such as Heath bits or chopped toffee)
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)
- 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line a 9x13-inch baking dish with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, combine cake mix, melted butter, and egg. Stir until a soft dough forms.
- Press dough evenly into the prepared pan.
- Sprinkle toffee bits evenly over the dough.
- If using, sprinkle chocolate chips on top.
- Drizzle sweetened condensed milk over the entire surface.
- Bake for 25–28 minutes, or until the edges are golden and the center is set.
- Cool completely before cutting into bars.
