Delicious Caramel Crush Bars with a sweet and buttery crust.
Ingredients

- 1 ½ cups quick oats
- 2 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 ½ cups brown sugar
- 1 ¼ cups butter, melted
- ¼ cup butter for filling
- 1 cup brown sugar for filling
- ¼ cup milk
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 tbsp flour for filling
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix oats, flour, brown sugar, and melted butter.
- Press half of the mixture into a baking dish.
- In a saucepan, melt butter and brown sugar over medium heat.
- Add milk, vanilla extract, and flour to the saucepan. Stir until smooth.
- Pour the caramel mixture over the crust in the baking dish.
- Sprinkle the remaining crust mixture on top of the caramel.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let cool before cutting into bars.

- Use real unsalted butter for better flavor.
- Light brown sugar offers mellow sweetness.
