Description

Delicious Caramel Crush Bars with a sweet and buttery crust.


Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups quick oats
  • 2 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 ½ cups brown sugar
  • 1 ¼ cups butter, melted
  • ¼ cup butter for filling
  • 1 cup brown sugar for filling
  • ¼ cup milk
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp flour for filling

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix oats, flour, brown sugar, and melted butter.
  3. Press half of the mixture into a baking dish.
  4. In a saucepan, melt butter and brown sugar over medium heat.
  5. Add milk, vanilla extract, and flour to the saucepan. Stir until smooth.
  6. Pour the caramel mixture over the crust in the baking dish.
  7. Sprinkle the remaining crust mixture on top of the caramel.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Let cool before cutting into bars.
