- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon instant yeast
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- ¾ cup warm water (more if needed)
- 1 cup feta cheese, crumbled
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh mint, chopped
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 tablespoon water
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix flour, yeast, sugar, and salt.
- Add olive oil and warm water, then knead into a smooth dough. Let it rise for 1 hour.
- Combine feta, mozzarella, parsley, mint, lemon zest, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Divide dough into small balls, then flatten each into a circle.
- Spoon cheese filling into the center of each dough circle and fold edges to form a triangle.
- Brush with egg wash (egg beaten with water).
- Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
