Ingredients

- 1 ½ lb flank steak, sliced into thin slices about ½ inch long
- 2 tablespoons avocado oil
- 1 tablespoon Montreal Steak Seasoning, or to taste
- 8 slices American white cheese
- ½ cup pepper jack cheese, grated (or any cheese of your choice)
- 6 raw or cooked tortillas
- 1 tablespoon butter, melted
- Salsa, sour cream, and cilantro for serving
Instructions
- Heat avocado oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
- Add the sliced flank steak and cook until browned.
- Season with Montreal Steak Seasoning to taste.
- Remove from heat and mix in the cheeses until melted.
- Fill each tortilla with the steak and cheese mixture, then fold into a burrito shape.
- Brush the chimichangas with melted butter.
- Bake or fry until golden and crispy.
- Serve with salsa, sour cream, and cilantro.
