Description

Cheeseburger quesadillas combine the flavors of a classic cheeseburger with the crispy texture of a quesadilla, topped with a tangy burger sauce.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef or turkey
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoons dried minced onions
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil or butter
  • 8 8-inch tortillas
  • 1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup diced pickles
  • 1/2 cup mayo
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons pickle relish
  • 1-2 teaspoons sweetener or sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon vinegar
  • 1/4 teaspoon mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
  2. Add ground beef or turkey, Worcestershire sauce, smoked paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, dried minced onions, salt, and pepper. Cook until meat is browned.
  3. Remove meat from pan and set aside.
  4. In a bowl, mix mayo, ketchup, pickle relish, sweetener, paprika, onion powder, vinegar, mustard, salt, and pepper to make the burger sauce.
  5. Place a tortilla in the pan and layer with cheese, cooked meat, pickles, and burger sauce.
  6. Top with another tortilla and cook until golden brown on both sides.
  7. Repeat for remaining quesadillas.
  8. Slice and serve warm.

Notes

  • Use a non-stick pan for easier flipping.
  • Adjust burger sauce sweetness to taste.
