- 2 tablespoons green onions or chives, chopped
Instructions
- Prepare the potatoes by washing and slicing or cubing them.
- In a bowl, toss the potatoes with melted butter, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
- Layer the potatoes and shredded cheese in a cast-iron skillet or foil packet.
- Cook over a campfire or grill for 25-30 minutes, until potatoes are tender.
- Garnish with green onions or chives before serving.
