Description

A rich and moist bread filled with cherries and chocolate.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup fresh or frozen cherries, pitted and chopped
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Add vegetable oil, eggs, vanilla extract, and milk. Stir until combined.
  4. Fold in cherries and chocolate chips.
  5. Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan.
  6. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Let the bread cool before slicing.

  • Can substitute cherries with other fruits.
