- 1/2 cup pure maple syrup
- 1 tsp maple extract
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 large egg
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp fine salt
- 1 cup white chocolate melting wafers
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, mix the melted butter, brown sugar, maple syrup, maple extract, and egg until smooth.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, cinnamon, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until combined.
- Fold in the white chocolate melting wafers.
- Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough onto the baking sheet, spacing them 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
- Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
- Store cookies in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
- For extra maple flavor, drizzle melted white chocolate mixed with maple extract on top.
