Ingredients

- 8 ounces corkscrew pasta (rotini or fusilli)
- 1/2 cup Italian-style dressing
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 2 cups cooked chicken, chopped
- 6 slices cooked bacon, crumbled
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1/2 cup shredded Muenster cheese (or Monterey Jack as a substitute)
- 1/2 cup celery, diced
- 1/2 cup green bell pepper, chopped
- 1 ripe avocado, diced
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package instructions, then drain and rinse with cold water.
- In a large bowl, mix Italian dressing and mayonnaise.
- Add cooked pasta, chicken, bacon, tomatoes, cheese, celery, bell pepper, and avocado to the bowl.
- Toss gently to coat all ingredients with the dressing mixture.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Chill for at least 30 minutes before serving.
Notes
- For a creamier texture, add more mayonnaise.
- Substitute grilled chicken for a smokier flavor.
- Best served cold.
