Description

Delicious chocolate cookies with a gooey marshmallow swirl, perfect for a sweet treat.


Ingredients

  • 1 ¾ cups (220 g) all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup (40 g) unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup (115 g) unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup (150 g) granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup (100 g) packed light brown sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup (90 g) semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup (50 g) mini marshmallows
  • 1/3 cup (60 g) marshmallow fluff (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until fluffy.
  4. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until smooth.
  5. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients.
  6. Fold in chocolate chips and mini marshmallows.
  7. Scoop dough onto the baking sheet, spacing them evenly.
  8. Swirl marshmallow fluff on top of each cookie (optional).
  9. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are set.
  10. Let cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

  • Store cookies in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
  • For extra gooeyness, add more marshmallow fluff.
  • If dough is too sticky, chill for 30 minutes.
