A rich and creamy chocolate orange cheesecake with a buttery biscuit base.
Ingredients
- Digestive Biscuits: 250g
- Unsalted Butter: 100g, melted
- Cream Cheese: 600g, softened
- Caster Sugar: 150g
- Double Cream: 300ml
- Orange Zest: 2 oranges
- Orange Extract: 1 tsp
- Dark Chocolate: 100g, melted
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 160°C (320°F).
- Crush the digestive biscuits into fine crumbs.
- Mix the crumbs with melted butter and press into the bottom of a springform pan.
- In a bowl, beat the cream cheese and caster sugar until smooth.
- Add the double cream, orange zest, and orange extract. Mix well.
- Fold in the melted dark chocolate until fully combined.
- Pour the cheesecake mixture onto the biscuit base.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes until set.
- Let it cool, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.
