    • ¼ cup brown sugar
    • ½ cup creamy peanut butter
    • 1 large egg
    • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Prepare the chocolate dough by combining flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt in a bowl.
  3. In another bowl, cream together butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar. Add the egg and vanilla extract, and mix well.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until a dough forms.
  5. Prepare the peanut butter dough by combining flour, baking soda, and salt in a bowl.
  6. In another bowl, cream together butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and peanut butter. Add the egg and vanilla extract, and mix well.
  7. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until a dough forms.
  8. Take small pieces of each dough and roll them together to create a marbled effect.
  9. Place the dough balls on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  10. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are set.
  11. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
