A rich and creamy Christmas Pecan Cheesecake Cake Delight that combines the flavors of cheesecake and cake.

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 4 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup chopped pecans, plus extra for topping
- 16 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon almond extract
- 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour for cheesecake
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup for topping
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar.
- Add eggs, vanilla extract, and sour cream. Mix well.
- Gradually add the flour and chopped pecans. Stir until combined.
- Divide the batter into two greased cake pans.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- For the cheesecake layer, beat the cream cheese until smooth.
- Add powdered sugar, almond extract, and flour. Mix until smooth.
- Spread the cheesecake mixture over one of the cooled cake layers.
- Top with the second cake layer.
- For the topping, drizzle maple syrup and sprinkle additional pecans.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.

- Store leftovers in the refrigerator.
- You can use walnuts instead of pecans if desired.
