A festive and easy-to-make treat perfect for Christmas, combining crispy rice cereal with marshmallows and white chocolate.

- 3 cups puffed rice cereal
- 1 1/2 cups mini marshmallows (or 1 cup mini marshmallows + 1/4 cup marshmallow fluff)
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups white chocolate chips or white chocolate candy melts
- 1 tablespoon coconut oil (optional, for smoother melting)
- 1/2 cup red, green, and white nonpareils
Instructions
- Grease a baking dish and set aside.
- Melt butter in a large pot over low heat.
- Add marshmallows and stir until fully melted.
- Remove from heat and mix in vanilla extract.
- Add puffed rice cereal and stir until evenly coated.
- Press the mixture into the greased baking dish and let it cool.
- Melt white chocolate chips with coconut oil (if using) in a double boiler.
- Spread melted chocolate over the cooled rice crispy mixture.
- Sprinkle nonpareils on top before the chocolate sets.
- Let it cool completely before cutting into squares.
Notes
- Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
- Add food coloring to the melted white chocolate for extra festive colors.
- Use holiday-themed sprinkles for a seasonal touch.
