A delicious cinnamon-flavored bread that combines the taste of donuts with the ease of bread-making.

- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup whole milk
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar for topping
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon for topping
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan.
- Cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Stir in the vanilla extract.
- Alternate adding the milk and dry ingredients (flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon) to the mixture, starting and ending with the dry ingredients.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
- Mix the topping sugar and cinnamon together and sprinkle evenly over the batter.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
- Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
- For extra flavor, add a simple glaze of powdered sugar and milk.
