Description

A sweet and aromatic cinnamon sugar bread perfect for breakfast or dessert.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (softened)
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar (for swirl)
  • 1 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon (for swirl)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan.
  2. Mix flour, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
  3. Cream butter and sugar until fluffy.
  4. Beat in egg, milk, vanilla, and oil.
  5. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients.
  6. Combine sugar and cinnamon for swirl.
  7. Pour half batter into pan, sprinkle half cinnamon sugar, repeat.
  8. Swirl batter lightly with a knife.
  9. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
  10. Cool before slicing.
