A sweet and aromatic cinnamon sugar bread perfect for breakfast or dessert.
Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter (softened)
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar (for swirl)
- 1 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon (for swirl)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan.
- Mix flour, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
- Cream butter and sugar until fluffy.
- Beat in egg, milk, vanilla, and oil.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients.
- Combine sugar and cinnamon for swirl.
- Pour half batter into pan, sprinkle half cinnamon sugar, repeat.
- Swirl batter lightly with a knife.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool before slicing.
Notes
- Use room temperature ingredients.
- Do not overmix batter.
- Store leftovers airtight.
