A moist and flavorful banana bread with a sweet cinnamon swirl.
Ingredients

- 3 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1/3 cup melted butter
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- Pinch of salt
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/3 cup sugar (for cinnamon swirl)
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon (for cinnamon swirl)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan.
- In a bowl, mix mashed bananas and melted butter.
- Add sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract. Mix well.
- Stir in baking soda, salt, and flour until just combined.
- In a small bowl, mix 1/3 cup sugar and cinnamon for the swirl.
- Pour half the banana batter into the loaf pan.
- Sprinkle half the cinnamon-sugar mixture over the batter.
- Add the remaining batter and top with the rest of the cinnamon-sugar.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool before slicing.
Notes
- Use very ripe bananas for the best flavor.
- Do not overmix the batter to keep the bread tender.
- Check for doneness at 50 minutes to avoid overbaking.
