Instructions
- Prepare the white cake mix according to package instructions.
- Add 1 teaspoon of coconut extract to the batter for extra flavor.
- Bake the cake and let it cool completely.
- In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth.
- Add powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and coconut extract to the cream cheese, mixing until well combined.
- Fold in the whipped topping until smooth.
- Spread the cream cheese frosting over the cooled cake.
- Top with sweetened shredded coconut.
