Hearty and flavorful cowboy baked beans with ground beef, onions, and bell peppers.

- 1 can (28 oz) Bush’s Baked Beans
- 1/2 pound ground beef
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon onion & herb seasoning
- 1/4 cup minced onions
- 1/2 cup chopped onions
- 1/2 cup chopped green bell peppers
Instructions
- Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat.
- Drain excess fat from the beef.
- Add minced onions, chopped onions, and green bell peppers to the skillet. Cook until softened.
- Stir in baked beans, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, and onion & herb seasoning.
- Simmer for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Serve warm.
Notes
- For extra smokiness, add a dash of liquid smoke.
- Adjust brown sugar to taste.
- Serve with cornbread or as a side for BBQ.
