Ingredients

  • 1 can (28 oz) Bush’s Baked Beans
  • 1/2 pound ground beef
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon onion & herb seasoning
  • 1/4 cup minced onions
  • 1/2 cup chopped onions
  • 1/2 cup chopped green bell peppers

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Drain excess fat from the beef.
  3. Add minced onions, chopped onions, and green bell peppers to the skillet. Cook until softened.
  4. Stir in baked beans, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, and onion & herb seasoning.
  5. Simmer for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  6. Serve warm.

Notes

  • For extra smokiness, add a dash of liquid smoke.
  • Adjust brown sugar to taste.
