Description

A flavorful Cowboy Butter Steak Linguine dish that combines tender steak with linguine and vibrant vegetables.


Ingredients

  • 12 oz linguine
  • 1 lb steak (sirloin or ribeye), cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 cups carrots, sliced into thin sticks or coins
  • 3 tbsp olive oil (divided)
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ¼ tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the linguine according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat 2 tbsp olive oil over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the steak pieces and season with salt and black pepper. Cook until browned. Remove from skillet.
  4. In the same skillet, add remaining olive oil and butter.
  5. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant.
  6. Add sliced carrots and sauté until tender.
  7. Stir in lemon juice, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and crushed red pepper flakes.
  8. Add the cooked steak back to the skillet.
  9. Toss in the cooked linguine and Dijon mustard. Mix well.
  10. Serve topped with grated Parmesan cheese and chopped parsley.
