Description

A flavorful turkey breast with a sweet and tangy cranberry orange glaze.


Ingredients

  • 1 (3-4 lb) turkey breast, bone-in and skin-on
  • 2 cups fresh cranberries
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons orange zest
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme leaves
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a saucepan, combine cranberries, orange juice, honey, orange zest, garlic, rosemary, and thyme.
  3. Cook over medium heat until cranberries burst and mixture thickens, about 10 minutes.
  4. Season turkey breast with salt and pepper.
  5. Heat olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.
  6. Brown turkey breast on all sides, about 5 minutes.
  7. Brush glaze over the turkey breast.
  8. Transfer skillet to the oven and roast for 1 to 1.5 hours, until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  9. Let the turkey rest for 20 minutes before slicing.
