  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cups cooked chicken breast, shredded
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • OPTIONAL GARNISH: 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
  3. Add the diced onion and minced garlic. Sauté until the onion is translucent.
  4. Stir in the thawed mixed vegetables and dried thyme. Cook for a few minutes.
  5. Sprinkle the flour over the mixture and stir to combine.
  6. Gradually add the chicken broth, stirring constantly to avoid lumps.
  7. Pour in the heavy cream and bring the mixture to a simmer.
  8. Add the shredded chicken and cooked noodles. Stir until well combined.
  9. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  10. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.
