A creamy and rich Crab Fettuccine Alfredo that combines tender crabmeat with a smooth Parmesan sauce.


Ingredients

  • 12 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 4 oz cream cheese, cut into pieces
  • 3/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and white or black pepper to taste
  • 8 oz lump crabmeat, picked over for shells

Instructions

  1. Cook fettuccine according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  3. Whisk in flour and cook for 1 minute.
  4. Slowly add milk, whisking constantly, until smooth.
  5. Stir in cream cheese until melted.
  6. Add Parmesan, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Stir until well combined.
  7. Gently fold in crabmeat and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  8. Toss sauce with cooked fettuccine.
  9. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
