  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced or pureed
  • 1 cup heavy cream or half-and-half
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth or white wine
  • 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Season shrimp with paprika, black pepper, and salt.
  2. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
  3. Cook shrimp for 2-3 minutes per side until pink. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same pan, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant.
  5. Add heavy cream, chicken broth, and Italian seasoning. Stir well.
  6. Simmer for 3-4 minutes until slightly thickened.
  7. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted.
  8. Add red pepper flakes if using.
  9. Return shrimp to the pan and coat with sauce.
  10. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve.
