Description

Creamy Lemon Squares are a delightful dessert with a buttery crust and zesty lemon filling.


Ingredients

  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 24 squares graham crackers
  • ¼ cup of sugar
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1 can (12oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • ½ cup of lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix melted butter, graham crackers, and sugar.
  3. Press the mixture into the bottom of a baking dish to form the crust.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together egg yolks, sweetened condensed milk, and lemon juice.
  5. Pour the lemon filling over the crust.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes until set.
  7. Allow to cool, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.

Notes

  • For a stronger lemon flavor, add more lemon juice.
  • Serve chilled for the best taste.
