- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup pepperoncini juice (from the jar)
- 1/2 cup sliced pepperoncini peppers (about 10-12 peppers)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional, for added heat)
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add chicken and cook until browned and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
- Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for 1 minute.
- Pour in chicken broth and pepperoncini juice, scraping the bottom of the skillet.
- Add sliced pepperoncini, heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes. Stir to combine.
- Return chicken to the skillet, coating it in the sauce. Simmer for 5 minutes.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
