  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup pepperoncini juice (from the jar)
  • 1/2 cup sliced pepperoncini peppers (about 10-12 peppers)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional, for added heat)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add chicken and cook until browned and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
  4. Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for 1 minute.
  5. Pour in chicken broth and pepperoncini juice, scraping the bottom of the skillet.
  6. Add sliced pepperoncini, heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes. Stir to combine.
  7. Return chicken to the skillet, coating it in the sauce. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
