Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup cold butter, cubed
- 1/4 cup cold water
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
- 1/2 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1 small potato, diced
- 1/2 cup diced carrots
- 1/2 cup peas
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp cumin
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- Mix flour and salt in a bowl. Add cold butter and blend until crumbly.
- Gradually add cold water, kneading until a dough forms. Chill for 30 minutes.
- Brown ground beef in a pan. Add onion, potato, carrots, peas, and spices. Cook until tender.
- Roll out the dough and cut into circles.
- Place filling on one half of each circle, fold over, and seal edges with a fork.
- Brush with egg wash and fry in hot oil until golden brown.

- Chill the dough for easier handling.
- Adjust spices to taste.
