- 4 small onions
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Cut the tops off the onions and peel them.
- Soak the onions in buttermilk for 30 minutes.
- In a bowl, mix flour, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
- Dip the soaked onions in the flour mixture, then in the beaten eggs, and finally in the breadcrumbs.
- Place the onions on a baking sheet and spray with cooking spray.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
