A simple and delicious recipe for Crockpot French Dip Sandwiches.
Ingredients

- 2 pounds beef chuck roast
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 4 hoagie rolls
- 4 slices provolone cheese (optional)
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Season the beef chuck roast with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Sear the roast in the skillet until browned on all sides.
- Transfer the roast to a crockpot.
- Add beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and soy sauce to the crockpot.
- Cook on low for 8 hours or until the beef is tender.
- Shred the beef with two forks and stir it into the juices.
- Serve on hoagie rolls with provolone cheese and garnish with parsley, if desired.
Notes
- Adjust seasoning to taste.
- Serve with a side of dipping sauce using the cooking liquid.
- Can be made a day ahead and reheated.
