Description

Delicious Croissant Smash Burgers made with juicy beef patties and fresh toppings.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 large croissants, sliced in half
  • 1 lb (450g) ground beef
  • 4 slices of your favorite cheese (cheddar, American, or Swiss)
  • 4 leaves of fresh lettuce
  • 1 large tomato, sliced
  • 6-8 pickle slices
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat a skillet or griddle over medium-high heat.
  2. Form the ground beef into balls, then place them on the skillet.
  3. Smash the balls down with a spatula to form patties.
  4. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Cook for 3-4 minutes until browned, then flip.
  6. Add cheese slices on top of the patties and cover to melt.
  7. Meanwhile, toast the croissant halves on another pan until golden brown.
  8. Assemble the burgers by placing the patties on the bottom croissant half.
  9. Add lettuce, tomato, and pickles.
  10. Top with the other half of the croissant and serve.
