Description

A sweet and delicious cinnamon bread topped with icing, inspired by Dollywood.


Ingredients

  • 1 (16 oz) loaf frozen bread dough, thawed
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 23 tablespoons milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix sugar and cinnamon.
  3. Roll out the thawed bread dough on a floured surface.
  4. Brush melted butter over the dough.
  5. Sprinkle the cinnamon sugar mixture over the dough.
  6. Roll the dough tightly and place it in a greased loaf pan.
  7. Let the dough rise for 30 minutes.
  8. Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown.
  9. While the bread cools, mix powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla to make icing.
  10. Drizzle icing over the cooled bread before serving.

Notes

  • Store leftovers in an airtight container.
  • Use less milk for a thicker icing.
