Description

This Dorito Casserole combines layers of Nacho Cheese Doritos, seasoned beef, creamy soup mixture, and melted cheese for a quick and crowd-pleasing dinner.


Ingredients

For the Casserole:

  • 1 bag (14 oz Nacho Cheese Doritos)
  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 1 can (10¾ oz cheddar cheese soup)
  • 1 can (10¾ oz cream of chicken soup)
  • 1 can (12 oz evaporated milk)
  • 1 can (4 oz diced green chilies)
  • 23 cups shredded Mexican cheese blend
  • 1 packet taco seasoning (optional)

Optional Toppings:

  • Sour cream
  • Diced green onions
  • Sliced cherry tomatoes
  • Sliced avocado or guacamole
  • Salsa
  • Jalapeño slices
  • Fresh cilantro

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Brown ground beef in a skillet, drain fat, and stir in taco seasoning.
  3. In a bowl, mix soups, milk, chilies, and beef.
  4. Layer crushed Doritos in greased 9x13 dish. Top with half the meat mixture and 1 cup cheese.
  5. Repeat layers with remaining Doritos, meat, and cheese.
  6. Cover and bake 20 min. Uncover and bake 10–15 min more.
  7. Cool slightly and serve with toppings of choice.

Notes

  • Add beans, corn, or peppers for variation.

  • Use other Dorito flavors like Cool Ranch or Spicy.

  • Substitute beef with turkey or plant-based meat.

  • Store leftovers for 3 days or freeze unbaked for up to 2 months.
