Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup (100g) Granulated Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Pure Vanilla Extract
  • 1 teaspoon Peppermint Extract
  • 2 1/4 cups (270g) All-Purpose Flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup (170g) Mini Chocolate Chips
  • 1 1/2 cups (180g) Powdered Sugar, divided
  • Optional: Green Food Coloring

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, cream together the butter and granulated sugar.
  3. Add the vanilla and peppermint extracts, mixing well.
  4. Gradually add the flour and salt, stirring until combined.
  5. Fold in the mini chocolate chips and optional food coloring.
  6. Shape the dough into small balls and place them on a baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until lightly golden.
  8. Let cookies cool for a few minutes, then roll in powdered sugar.
  9. Allow cookies to cool completely and roll in powdered sugar again before serving.
