Description
Delicious cream puffs filled with eggnog flavored whipped cream.
Ingredients

- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup butter, cubed
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 3/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 4 large eggs, room temperature
- 1 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream
- 1 1/2 cups confectioners’ sugar
- 1/4 cup eggnog
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- Additional confectioners’ sugar for dusting
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a saucepan, combine water, butter, and salt. Bring to a boil.
- Stir in flour and nutmeg until the mixture forms a ball.
- Remove from heat and let cool slightly. Beat in eggs one at a time until smooth.
- Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a baking sheet.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool completely.
- Whip the heavy cream, confectioners’ sugar, eggnog, vanilla, and nutmeg until stiff peaks form.
- Cut the tops off the cooled cream puffs and fill with the whipped cream mixture.
- Replace the tops and dust with additional confectioners’ sugar before serving.
Notes
- Make sure the eggs are at room temperature for best results.
- You can use store-bought eggnog if you prefer.
- Store any leftovers in the refrigerator.
