  • ½ teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 4 cups eggnog, divided
  • ⅓ cup canola or vegetable oil
  • 3 large eggs
  • 2 (3.4 ounce) boxes of instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 1 (8 ounce) tub of whipped topping, thawed

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, cinnamon, nutmeg, 1 cup of eggnog, oil, and eggs.
  3. Mix until well combined, then pour the batter into a greased 9x13 inch baking pan.
  4. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  5. Once cooled, poke holes in the cake with a fork.
  6. In a separate bowl, whisk together the pudding mix and remaining eggnog until smooth.
  7. Pour the pudding mixture over the cake, ensuring it fills the holes.
  8. Spread the whipped topping over the cake.
  9. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
