- 1 lb (450g) pork mince (ground pork)
- 1 packet French onion soup mix (or 1 cup sautéed onions + 1 tsp onion powder)
- 1 tbsp tomato ketchup
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- Freshly cracked black pepper, to taste
- 2 sheets puff pastry, thawed if frozen
- 1 egg
- 1 tbsp milk
- Optional: Cheese (cheddar, mozzarella)
- Optional: Fresh herbs (thyme, rosemary, parsley)
- Optional: Chili flakes for spice
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a bowl, combine pork mince, French onion soup mix, tomato ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, and black pepper.
- Roll out the puff pastry sheets on a floured surface.
- Cut each pastry sheet into rectangles.
- Spoon filling onto one side of each rectangle.
- Add optional cheese and herbs if desired.
- Fold the pastry over to seal the filling inside.
- Beat the egg with milk and brush over the top of the rolls.
- Place rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
Notes
- Chill the pastry for easier handling.
- Serve with a dipping sauce if desired.
