Ingredients

- 1 cup uncooked long-grain white rice
- 1 lb of ground beef
- 1 small diced onion
- 4 minced garlic cloves
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 cup shredded cheddar
- 1/2 cup Parmesan, grated
- 3 cups beef broth (low sodium)
- Salt and pepper as needed
- 1 tsp of Italian seasoning
- 3 tbsp butter
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (optional)
Instructions
- Cook rice according to package instructions.
- Brown ground beef in a pan over medium heat.
- Add diced onion and minced garlic, sauté until softened.
- Stir in milk, cheddar, Parmesan, beef broth, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
- Simmer until cheese melts and mixture thickens.
- Mix in cooked rice and butter.
- Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.

- Use low-sodium beef broth to control saltiness.
- Adjust seasoning to taste.
- Fresh parsley adds brightness but is optional.
