Description

A savory dish combining tender steak, broccoli, and penne pasta in a rich garlic butter sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 oz penne pasta
  • 1 lb steak (sirloin, ribeye, or your choice), cut into bite-sized pieces
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Optional: crushed red pepper flakes or chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook penne pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Season steak pieces with salt and black pepper.
  3. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Add steak and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same pan, melt butter. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
  5. Add broccoli florets and cook until tender-crisp, about 3-4 minutes.
  6. Return cooked steak to the pan. Add cooked penne and Parmesan cheese. Toss to combine.
  7. Garnish with optional red pepper flakes or parsley before serving.

Notes

  • Use fresh garlic for best flavor.
  • Adjust steak doneness to your preference.
  • Substitute broccoli with asparagus or green beans if preferred.
