- 4 Tablespoons low sodium soy sauce
- 1/2 Tablespoon sesame seed oil
- 1 teaspoon hot sauce
- 1 Tablespoon vegetable oil divided
- 1 red bell pepper diced
- 2 cups diced ham
- 2 green onions diced
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- 5 cups cold, cooked white rice
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup pineapple pieces
Instructions
- Heat 1/2 tablespoon vegetable oil in a large pan over medium heat.
- Add garlic and red bell pepper, sauté until softened.
- Add diced ham and cook until heated through.
- Stir in cold rice, breaking up any clumps.
- Add soy sauce, sesame oil, and hot sauce, mixing well.
- Push the rice mixture to one side of the pan.
- In the empty side, add remaining vegetable oil and crack in eggs, scrambling until cooked.
- Mix scrambled eggs into the rice mixture.
- Stir in pineapple and green onions, cooking for another 2 minutes.
- Serve hot.

- Use day-old rice for best texture.
