  • 1 cup dill pickle juice
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 Tbsp confectioners’ sugar
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • Peanut oil or canola oil, for frying

Instructions

  1. Marinate chicken pieces in pickle juice for 30 minutes.
  2. Whisk egg and milk in a bowl.
  3. Mix flour, sugar, paprika, salt, and pepper in another bowl.
  4. Drain chicken from pickle juice.
  5. Dip chicken pieces in egg mixture, then coat with flour mixture.
  6. Heat oil to 375°F in a deep fryer or skillet.
  7. Fry nuggets for 3-4 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Drain on paper towels.
